Jones 50th Anniversary

50 years of marriage is truly an extraordinary thing in today’s world.  On March 26th, Val and Judy Jones got to celebrate one of the rarest ‘landmark moments’ of life.  Family and friends gathered from near and far to be a part of this special event, and to reminisce about a beautiful love story that began over 50 years ago.

The day was full of love, laughter, great food, a special musical presentation by the grandchildren, and many many memories. Val and Judy have shown us what it is to have a lasting relationship.  “To love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides”.

These two beautiful souls are such an example to all of us, and I am so glad to have been part of this celebration.

Lacey and Troy – Engagements

These two first met in an art gallery, which portrays much of who they are. Troy designed the ring for Lacey himself, and oversaw the making of it.
It was high above the ground in a hot air balloon that he proposed.
These two obviously share something very special and I can’t wait for their big day!

Daniel and Lexus Engagements

Daniel and Lexus hit it off the first time they met.  Their relationship grew and developed over the years and they knew they had something special.  They even made it through living long-distance from each other while Dan was in Maine and Lexus was in Utah.  They decided that long-distance stinks and have now moved here to Spring Creek 🙂

They were so tough in the freezing weather and we all had such a blast at this photo shoot.  I can’t wait for their wedding in June!

Congratulations guys!

Kelsey and Jake Herzig Wedding

Kelsey and Jake met in High School, where instead of Jake sweeping her off her feet, he pantsed her in the middle of their weights class 🙂  His charm eventually made up for it, because they later started dating.  He didn’t have his driver’s license when he asked her on their first date, so they walked to Jake’s house where his mom drove them to the swimming pool 😉  They walked around that whole evening and became “official” that night.

Jake had never had a girlfriend for more than two months and was worried that Kelsey would leave him.  But far from leaving him, they dated for 4 years, and 3 of those years were long distance while they both went to college!

Jake proposed during a visit home as a surprise.  He told Kelsey he was taking her out on a date and that she should wear something nice.  In the car he told her he was picking up his buddies and they were all going shooting.  Kelsey was a little mad that he had told her to wear something nice, just to go shooting!  But she decided to be a good sport and enjoy herself anyway.  At the end they were all taking funny pictures together, and that’s when Jake pulled the ring out of his boot and proposed!  Kelsey was so surprised and shocked that she started crying and just nodded her head yes 🙂

Their beautiful country wedding was blessed with perfect weather, love, and friendship.  Congratulations Kelsey and Jake!

Lacey and Bradley Haney Wedding

Lacey and Bradley went to Carlin High together, where their love first blossomed.  But it wasn’t until the end of their senior year that Lacey got the courage up to write her phone number in Brad’s yearbook 🙂   He took the bait and called Lacey, and their story began!

Brad had an elaborate plan put together to propose to Lacey on a surprise trip to Reno, but he was so excited that he spoiled his own surprise!  He proposed in the kitchen the night before they left, and took her ring shopping the next day in Reno 🙂

Their beautiful mountain wedding was idyllic.  The weather was perfect, the food was divine, and the day was full of love and laughter.  Congratulations Lacey and Bradley!
